Welcome to present your research or project at Luomupäivät in Lahti in 5th-6th November!
Luomupäivät will be held in Lahti on November 5th-6th, 2025. Note that event is organized in Finnish. The event brings together actors in the organic sector, from farmers to advisors, officials to researchers, students to project leaders. This a great opportunity to showcase your organic research throughout the two-day event.
All researchers, developers, and project actors working in organic agriculture can submit poster proposals. The presented research, project, or development work should be related to organic field. The poster may have been presented at previous scientific conferences or events. Researchers participating in the poster exhibition will pay the normal registration fee for Luomupäivät. Registration for the event opens on July at Luomuliitto webpages.
Submission of poster proposals
Poster proposals must be submitted by Friday, September 12th, 2025, by 4:00 PM. The poster abstract must include the title, abstract, authors’ information with contact details, and 1–5 keywords, which are not included in the title.
The abstract length should not exceed 3000 characters including spaces. The titled abstract text should not include references, images, tables, or bibliography. The language of the poster abstract can be Finnish or English. At the end of the abstract text, list 2 – 4 keywords that best describe your abstract on their own line: “Keywords: word1, word2, …” Submit the poster abstract electronically to luomuinstituutti@luke.fi. Title your message “Luomupäivät 2025 posterinäyttely”. Late poster proposals will not be accepted.
Acceptance of poster proposals
Posters will be accepted for the exhibition based on the content of the abstracts. The decision on acceptance will be made by Luomupäivät organizing committee. Notification of acceptance or rejection of the poster proposal will be sent to the contact person who submitted the poster by email by September 30th, 2025. A digital abstract book of participating posters will be published on Luomupäivät program in Luomuliitto´s website as well as the Luomuinstituutti´s website.
Presentation of posters during the organic days
The poster exhibition will be displayed in the lobby of Fellmannia throughout the event. The presenter of the poster must be available on Wednesday, November 6th, from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM. Researchers participating in the poster exhibition will pay the normal registration fee for Luomupäivät. Registration for the event opens on July at Luomuliitto webpages.
