The Organic Research Institute is funding doctoral research projects in the organic sector – call is now open!

The Organic Institute is offering funding for two doctoral research projects in the organic sector, in line with the Institute’s research strategy and Finland’s national program for organic production.

The call is open for four-year projects, each of which will receive funding for the salary of one doctoral researcher. The themes are organic plant production, organic livestock production, organic food and consumption and the environmental impacts of organic production.

Applications must be submitted by a minimum of 2 researchers who are eligible to supervise doctoral researchers and represent both Luke and the University of Helsinki. The evaluation criteria will focus on scientific quality, relevance of the topics, feasibility and qualifications of the applicants. 

Applications can be submitted online between 13.11.2023 and 8.12.2023 at 16.00. The application form can be found here.
